Empty capsules are stable shells containing encapsulate drugs, which are administered in a wide variety of dosage forms. These capsules are used for drug products constituting of dry, liquids, semi-solids, and miniature pellets or powdered ingredients. and non-gelatin capsules. Empty capsules are made in two halves; a
lower-diameter body that is filled and then sealed using a higher-diameter cap.
Hard capsules are made of gelatin derived from animal skins and bones, and are
used for encapsulation of dry, liquids, semi-solids, and miniature pellets or
powdered ingredients. Whereas non-gelatin/vegetarian/vegetable capsules) are made
of hypromellose, a polymer formulated from cellulose and other polysaccharides.

the most popular empty capsules available today are the sizes 00, holds about
735 mg. Moreover, empty capsules allow the user to fill powders at desired
potencies and avoid tablet binders and fillers.
